TruMemphis Landmarks
Memphis-based TruGreen is the nation’s largest professional lawn care company and committed to the communities it serves. Recently, TruGreen introduced TruMemphis Landmarks, a Memphis community endeavor supporting some of Memphis’ most recognizable landmarks. By donating nearly $30,000 worth of services and over 200 volunteer hours a year, TruGreen helps sustain the attractions that make Memphis what so many have come to enjoy. TruMemphis Landmarks includes the following:
The Woodruff Fontaine House, a beautiful French Victorian mansion built in 1870 along “Millionaires Row”, was home to two prominent Memphis families, and deeded to the city in 1936.

The Pink Palace Family of Museums, including The Pink Palace Museum, Mallory-Neely House, and Magevney House, are all some of Memphis’ finest attractions that TruGreen supports. The Pink Palace Museum is where one can explore the cultural and natural history of the Mid-south through exciting exhibits, dioramas, and audio-visuals. The Mallory-Neely House, a 25-room home built in 1852 with stenciled and hand painted ceilings, parquet flooring, and stained-glass windows purchased at the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair, is the only historic property in Memphis to retain most of its original furnishings. The Magevney House, a small, white clapboard cottage built in the 1830's, and a pre-Civil War middle-class home of Irish immigrant Eugene Magevney, is one of the city's oldest remaining residences yet temporarily closed.

Recognized as the site of Elvis Presley’s first professional rock-n-roll show, it has been an outdoor performing arts pavilion since the 1930s and since revitalized.
